Iron Dominion
★★★★☆ 4.2
Iron Dominion asks you to build up a territory, manage supply lines, and expand without spreading yourself too thin. It leans more toward slow, thoughtful play than frantic tapping, which I appreciated. You lay out production buildings, route resources, and defend borders that other players are constantly probing.
The learning curve is steep, and the first hour is a bit overwhelming. Once it clicks, though, there's a real satisfaction in watching a well-planned economy hum along. Combat is more about positioning and timing than raw numbers.
It's better in short daily sessions than long marathons. The alliance features push you toward playing with others, and honestly the game is far more fun once you join an active group.
